What’s your favorite way to get involved in the community?: Finding a need and filling it!
Who inspires you and why?: Melissa Thomas, Executive Director at The Branch of Nashville – she took a small food pantry and developed it into a place for people to learn English, cooking meals to feed volunteers, or stocking the pantry shelves. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. They work to form bonds of friendship, so that everyone at The Branch has a voice and a place of acceptance and welcome.
